Is it Spring time yet?

That has been the question in my house for the past couple of days. The sun was shining in England for three days in a row. We had rain today and the wind...not so fun. Saturday morning...Madison and Hannah woke up. Madison shouts, "It's springtime!" in a super loud and excited voice. I told her it was still winter. She asked why since the sun was out.

They both wanted to ride their bikes, I said go ahead so off they go with just a long sleeve on. I told them they needed coats, they said they didn't...it was after all, "HOT" outside. It really wasn't. The wind was blowing and it was 32 degrees outside...as in Fahrenheit.

Sunday it was still sunny. I asked them if they wanted to go outside, they said no, it was too cold. Funny how their view on the sun changed.

Hannah now every morning asks if it's spring time. I can't blame her. I want it to come as well. When I was younger, I only loved summer. I love the heat. I don't know what that's like anymore but as I'm growing up (I don't like to say older) I have learned to appriciate the beauty in all the seasons. Oh wait...perhaps I can skip spring time here....I have terrible hay feever over here.
