Stonehenge

We drove down...it took a little...okay a lot longer than we thought....M25 was like bumper to bumper traffic going 2 mph. We stopped in a super cute village....Marlow was the name and ate some lunch. We finished up our drive and got there after 6 hours...that's right 6 hours. Luckily our drive home was only 2 hours. The girls did excellent though...no complaints at all from them. And like Hannah said, "This was a really fun day mum." I love that kid.

These mounds are actually tombs.
I'm totally adding this since it was late when I posted this and I was not all there. I think the most fascinating thing was to think about how when Stonehenge was used for whatever it was used for, it's still a mystery...it was in a woodland area. There is not a tree around the place at all or around the mounds. I had no idea! I love learning all these cool tidbits over here.
