Saturday we enjoyed a drive to Kenilworth Castle which was super fun. It luckily stopped raining and we were able to walk around without getting wet. We went into the gate house first since there was a wedding and it was closing early. I didn't even get a picture of the outside...but it was cool to read the history of it and see pieces that were once in the castle were used in the house.
We headed home but we stopped at a T.G.I. Fridays for an early dinner. Tasty! I love it when a hamburger has lettuce, tomato, cheese and sauce in it....it's like a real burger. I can't stand when I order a burger here and it's meat, cheese and a bun. The girls passed out in the car on the way home and Dan and I were able to enjoy listening to the History of the Kings and Queens of England. Next weekend....the Robin Hood Festival in Sherwood Forest! We're excited about that one!
